Welcome, I am Josephine —
BUT YOU CAN CALL ME JOEY 【 좋이 】 !
I’m from Santa Monica, California, and currently based in New York. My background in business and design allows me to approach projects through both strategic and creative lenses — combining research, storytelling, and design thinking to build experiences that feel clear, intentional, and human.
I’ve previously held roles across venture capital, fintech, e-commerce, and the art–business world — from content marketing at Techstars to brand strategy at Columbia Business School. As the founder of JOI Journal, I explore the intersection of storytelling, design, and culture through interviews and visual narratives with global creatives.
Outside of work, I direct independent film and photography projects, exploring how visual storytelling can move people and make ideas tangible.
I graduated from Columbia University in Spring 2025 with a B.A. in Business Management and Visual Arts.
